Job Title: Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Location: London (mobile role)

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Call-Out Rota: As required (details based on assignment)

Overview

We are seeking a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a facilities management team serving multiple urban locations across London. The role involves both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical servicing across a variety of commercial and public space environments.

Responsibilities

Perform PPM and reactive electrical maintenance issued through helpdesk systems
Carry out lighting maintenance, lamping, and fault diagnosis
Test and maintain emergency lighting systems
Monitor and service electrical distribution and switchgear equipment
Maintain compliance logbooks and service documentation
Act as contractor liaison for site-based control and quality oversight
Work safely and adhere to health and safety policies across varied sites
 

Candidate Requirements

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds 2330 in Electrical Installation (18th Edition)
Experience working with hand-held devices to complete electronic job reports
Proven track record of working in facilities or property maintenance environments
Valid UK driving licence preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
