Commercial Insights Analyst

Your main responsibilities will be:

Supporting revenue and demand forecasting to predict the impact of commercial projects.
Evaluating the impact of different factors that affect customer revenue and volumes.
Provide regular and ad-hoc revenue analysis, manipulating and drawing meaningful insights from large and complex data sets, then presenting findings.
Supporting analytical initiatives that will bring value to stakeholders across the network.
Assisting with compiling revenue budget and forecasts.

You’ll need to be:

Detail oriented, ensuring accuracy.
Organised with good time management.
Able to visualise, present and communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
Able to grasp and solve complex issues and systems quickly and independently.
Able to make confident and innovative suggestions

As a minimum you’ll need to have:

A strong commercial acumen
Proven analytical and numerical skills
A degree or equivalent experience
Advanced working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
An understanding of the UK rail industry is desirable but not essential.
Experience with business intelligence software and working with large data sets would also be advantageous but not essential.
