Hours: 0800-1600hrs, Mon to Fri

 

 

here at Zed Rail Limited are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Data & Examinations Manager to lead the strategic and operational management of examinations and data across a secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient collection, analysis and use of high-quality data to support student progress and outcomes.

 

 

 

The Role

As Data & Examinations Manager, you will:

Lead the planning, administration, and delivery of all internal and external examinations.
Be the principal point of contact with examination boards and external agencies.
Manage, analyse, and quality assure student data, including census returns and attainment tracking.
Oversee and develop the use of the SIMS information management system, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective staff training.
Provide timely, accurate reports to inform teaching, learning, and school improvement strategies.
Line manage the Deputy Data & Exams Manager and a team of invigilators, ensuring training and development opportunities are in place.

 

 

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

Educated to degree level or has equivalent relevant experience.
Experienced in managing examinations and data in a complex organisation (ideally in education).
A confident leader with excellent organisational and communication skills.
Technically competent with SIMS and data management systems.
Able to work flexibly and resiliently under pressure, with a sharp eye for detail.
Committed to safeguarding, confidentiality, and the values of integrity and professionalism.
