Senior D365 Applications & IT Support Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Applications & IT Support Engineer to join our clients dynamic IT team. In this role, you’ll take the lead in supporting and enhancing our clients critical business applications, with a particular focus on driving the rollout and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365).

What You’ll Do

Provide advanced 2nd and 3rd line support for core business systems, including AX and D365
Lead application projects end-to-end — from planning and design through to delivery and post-implementation support.
Manage and maintain integrations across a complex hybrid IT landscape (cloud and on-premises).
Identify opportunities to boost ERP and production system performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Develop and deliver training sessions to end users, ensuring they get the best out of our applications.
Partner with finance, production teams, and third-party suppliers to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
Support essential business activities like stocktakes, including occasional work outside normal hours when needed.
 

About You

You’re a seasoned support engineer with hands-on experience in ERP systems — ideally AX and/or D365.
You have a solid track record working in hybrid IT environments and understand the challenges and opportunities they bring.
You’re always looking for ways to improve and automate processes — familiarity with Power Automate or Power Platform is a big plus.
You’re a clear communicator who can explain technical issues to non-technical stakeholders and guide decision-making.
You enjoy collaborating with others, take pride in your work, and help those around you grow.
 

What You’ll Bring

Proven background in application support, ideally in a manufacturing or production setting.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft systems and ERP platforms.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience delivering projects on time.
Flexibility to support the business as needed, including some evenings and weekends.
