Site Engineer

An established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer  to support ongoing rail station infrastructure and general civil works across central Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity to take on a pivotal role within a forward-thinking project team delivering high-profile infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities:

– Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site operations
– Set out works and carry out site surveying activities
– Ensure works meet quality, safety, and environmental standards
– Interpret technical drawings and specifications
– Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
– Assist with weekly site planning, logistics, and documentation
– Maintain accurate site records, including diaries and inspections

About the Projects

Projects include:

– Rail station platforms and structural upgrades
– Highways and road improvement works
– Bridges, tunnels, earthworks, and flood prevention
– Power infrastructure and environmental enhancements

What We’re Looking For:

– HNC, HND, or Degree in Civil Engineering
– Proven experience in setting out and site engineering roles
– Ability to read and implement technical drawings
– Experience managing subcontractors and materials
– Strong record-keeping and communication skills
– Experience with Inspection Test Plans and Work Package Plans preferred
