NEW RELIABILITY ENGINEER IN WHITSTABLE.
A leading manufacturer of a range of complex electronic applications for the military and aerospace industries are searching for a Reliability Engineer to join their dynamic team based in Whitstable, Kent.
Our client is looking for a proactive Reliability Engineer to join their Facilities and Maintenance team in Whitstable. Reporting to the Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you’ll be instrumental in enhancing equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and supporting key business performance metrics such as OEE, utilisation and schedule adherence.
Responsibilities as an Reliability Engineer in Whitstable.
Implement and lead TPM pillars such as Autonomous Maintenance, Planned Maintenance, and Early Equipment Management.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and FMEA to improve equipment performance.
Analyse equipment performance data and predict failures using CMMS and statistical tools.
Ensure maintenance strategies align with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
Collaborate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure asset reliability and spare part availability.
Apply Lean Six Sigma tools (DMAIC, 5S, Kaizen) to streamline maintenance processes.
Requirements as an Reliability Engineer in Whitstable.
2+ years’ experience in reliability engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Proven track record in RCM implementation and leading DMAIC/Kaizen initiatives.
Strong communication skills and the ability to lead and train cross-functional teams.
Mechanical/electrical qualifications or time-served apprenticeship.
