IT 2nd line engineer

2nd line engineer – Swindon – £31,000 – £37,000

Responsibilities:

Assess, troubleshoot and support server and end user computing issues.
Assist in the developing processes and methods of IT operation.
Onsite IT support on various company sites.
Log system issues and track performance of IT services.
Maintain a level of technical competence and highlight any training needs to IT Manager, whilst assisting in training other members of staff.

What you’ll need:

Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, Microsoft 365, Active Directory and VMWare.
Hands-on demonstrable experience with server infrastructure and networking; LAN, vLAN, WAN, VPN’s etc.

Other requirements ;

Driving licence and own transport – essential
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and plainly explain complex situations.
High attention to detail and organisational skills.
