HGV Class 1 Driver(Tipper Afters)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV 1 Tipper Driver to join our logistics team.

You will driving to one of our clients pick up points, they will load you, run back to our client, tip, wash out and finish.

This is long term, ongoing Agency work

Duties

• Operate a Tipper lorry to transport goods to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing of loads for safe transport.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
• Report any vehicle maintenance issues or accidents immediately.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driving licence (C+E or equivalent) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with flatbed lorries.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
• A commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety at all times.

Pay is £17.40ph inclusive of holiday pay Monday t Friday, odd weekend shift is available up to £23ph
