We are currently recruiting for a Health and Safety Manager to work with a large, oversees Civil Engineering Contractor on a prestigious railway project in Birmingham. We are constantly recruiting for the best possible opportunities. See below for the following vacancy:

Requirements:

Individual must have at least 5-10 years civils or rail experience
NEEBOSH general or construction certificate
Ideally resides locally to the area
Demonstrate a track record of overseeing major projects in a multi-site environment
Advises and manages other people in a clear and concise way
Computer literate and able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office
The Role:

Undertake onsite inspection and monitoring of health, safety, and welfare.
To help review and manage project safety controls and coordinate project safety inspections and identifying trends for improvements.
Support and advice to the projects and operational teams on all aspects of HSSE
Meeting legal and company standards and helping deliver a culture of continual improvement.
To directly partner with the Project Directors/Heads of Operations.
To manage and lead the Health, Safety, Sustainability and Environmental advisors on the project and provide HSSE co-ordination.
