A fantastic opportunity to play the lead role in an all-day pub & hotel experience by the sea, a place to enjoy hearty food with handpicked beers, wines & spirits. With a multi-million pound refurb, we have given new life to an old Victorian boozer & there is nothing more evocative than a pub by the train station. Our pub also boasts an incredible 100-capacity sun trap beer garden as well as a front terrace. We are looking for that special someone with the passion, determination & drive to deliver a memorable experience for both teams and guests. There is ample room to be creative with specials, supper clubs & all-around community events to get stuck in plus many more ideas we look forward to you bringing to the table. We deliver the best Sunday roast in town with the service to match! With 35 beautiful, boutique pub rooms attached & a dedicated hotel management & housekeeping team, this is a flagship site for an ambitious Head Chef to make their own & put our pub on the culinary map.

What do you offer us?
Our Head Chefs will work with their General Manager and operations team to produce a menu that fits your pub!
We just ask for a few things; that you will lead and inspire your team from the front. You will be a natural leader and coach your brigade, we believe if you teach someone something new every day, they will come back day after day. We want creative, passionate people to deliver consistent, fresh, seasonal food. We expect good health & safety standards and a well-trained team.
We are not interested in foams, gels & smears! We need proper chefs who cook great ingredients perfectly every time, we want our main menu to change with the seasons, and specials that show imagination, flair, and personality.
You will have full responsibility for your Food GP and will be rewarded for delivering results.
You will work closely with your management team, including your GM so that you can partner the finest food with the drinks offered and atmosphere that you will be the beating heart of every shift.
