Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer

Location: Glastonbury (Hybrid Working – 2/3 Days On-Site Per Week)

Salary: Up to £65,000 (Depending on Experience)

Job Overview: 

A requirement for an additional electronics engineer, focused on providing additional strength in hardware and associated firmware development. An ideal applicant with have a strong track record in the design and development of electronic products, with a particular emphasis on embedded devices including driver and system control software

 

Required Experience/Skills: 

– Detailed analogue, digital and power supply circuit design

– Evaluation testing and improvement of designs

– Working knowledge of Altium Designer for PCB layout.

– Development of design processes and procedures used by the electronic design team

– Design of digital electronics including embedded microprocessors (e.g, ARM, STM32, PIC)

– Design of industrial control & data interfaces (RS422, CAN, USB, WiFi, ADC, DAC)

– Complete required project documentation

– Design of low power switch-mode power supplies

– PCB layout techniques for power supply and EMC performance

 

 

Education: 

– Degree in a relevant area such as Software or Electronic Engineering
