Key Responsibilities:

Overall responsibility for rail replacement activity in your geographical area
Ensure operational profitability by ensuring TUK hit agreed margins
Support & Grow TUKs road transport strategy in your geographical area
Support the head of TUK to identify/explore sustainable growth opportunities
Leadership of your TUK team in a collaborative & inclusive manner
Relationship management with clients, customers & governing bodies

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:

Demonstrable bus /coach industry experience with management experience
A good general understanding of the bus coach and UK travel industry
A sound working knowledge of H&S best practice
A significant level of experience in leading multi-disciplined operational team
Must be fully IT & Smart tech literate, be a competent user of Microsoft Office
Ability to build internal and external relationships to benefit the business
Possess business acumen that demonstrates value adding capability
Can challenge non-conformance with professionalism & diplomacy
Strives to continually improve TUKs position to deliver a best-in-class service
Has sales and/or account management capabilities
Can negotiate contracts & commercial agreements is required
A driven self-starter who can work alone and as part of a team
Flexible approach to working hours allowing attendance to out of hours events
Has an ability to communicate and connect with a variety of audiences

 

Our services operate seven days a week, covering a range of different hours – early morning and right into the night. There will be a requirement to be flexible at short notice, due to working requirements.
