Supply Chain Assistant
Job Location: Ferndown, Dorset
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with an earlier finish on a Friday
A leading manufacturing company who are growing year on year are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain team with Purchasing & Planning.
Within this role you will be;
– Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Buyer and Planner to provide administrative support
– Creating, updating and tracking of works orders
– Support the procurement team with placing purchase orders
– Maintaining accurate records for supplier information, order confirmations and deliveries
– Maintain and assist with document control
Applicant requirements:
– 1 – 2 years’ experience in supply chain, logistics or manufacturing
– Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
– Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook
– High attention to detail
The successful applicant will:
– Have 1 – 2 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement or planning
– Basic understanding of supply chain, planning and procurement practices
– Proficient in Microsoft excel, word and outlook
– Have excellent attention to detail, highly organized and have a ‘can do’ attitude
– Self-motivated and results driven
