In this Electrical Design Engineer post, you’ll join a well-formed team that carries out full services design, energy modeling, and sustainability consultancy on enviable schemes. An Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for railway infrastructure, rolling stock, and signaling systems. They ensure that electrical systems meet safety, reliability, and performance standards.

Your role will be to support existing Principal Engineers with the delivery of schemes while gaining the expertise to ensure your career progression. Similarly, you’ll be helping to look after and train less experienced engineers to help them build deep foundations for their future.
You needn’t be degree qualified but it is crucial that you have worked as an Electrical Design Engineer within building services previously and be comfortable with UK design standards and codes.
