We are looking for someone who is a Qualified Driver with appropriate traction types, Personal Track Safety and is passionate about training and developing others.

Key accountabilities for this role include:
Design, prepare and prioritise driver training course materials and equipment to meet the delivery time scales of the company’s requirements. Ensure provision of all materials crafted, designed and developed; meet legislation and/or standards where such standards are in force as advised by the Driver Standards Manager.
Deliver driver assessments utilising practical rides, written exams, computer-based assessmentsand driving simulator scenarios in accordance with company and industry standards.
Assist with the delivery of other Operations Standards activities as advised by the Driver Standards Manager and Operations Standards Manager.
Evaluate course contents, duration for safety, cost efficiency and recommend alternative solutions where applicable.
Responsible for the delivery of safety-related training courses built by other Companies, e.g. PTS.
Deliver training to other grades of staff within and outside the organisation

You will be able to demonstrate:
Must be qualified in Rules and Regulations with typically 3 years driving and driver management experience.
Must be qualified in Train Driving, appropriate traction types and Personal Track Safety.
NVQ qualification to A1 and V1 (or equivalent) Assessor and Verification must be held (or being worked towards).
NVQ L10, L11, and L12 (or equivalent) Training Qualifications must be held or being worked towards.
TOLO qualified.
Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
