As Ecodesign engineer, you will ensure environmental compliance of a vehicle design and manufacturing against local and international legislations, such as REACH. You will lead Ecodesign activities during tenders & projects lifecycle and manage and guide designs to improve environmental performance of products.
We’ll look to you for:
Feed the ISO14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) with Ecodesign input and activities
Manage & guide design to improve environmental performance of products
Contribute to Ecodesign Research and Development (R&D) and to deliver continuous improvement
Propose Ecodesign yearly commitment and work plan
Propose and follow Ecodesign dashboard for solutions/products
Contribute to EMS and its processes
Perform compliance assessment
Apply Ecodesign expertise for local platform, subsystems, tenders and projects
Perform Ecodesign activities on tenders (contractual and legal requirements analysis and positioning)
Prepare Ecodesign management plan and specifications (train, components or signalling level)
Support Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and other functions’ activities (train, components or signalling level) to achieve Ecodesign commitments
Participate in relevant Design Reviews (DR) and Gate Reviews (GR) meetings, propose corrective actions and risk mitigation plan
Perform and update Ecodesign studies until delivery of the last train
Implement relevant Ecodesign R&D and Core Competency Network (CCN) targets in projects
Propose & Support Ecodesign Managers and CCN leader for updating and developing Ecodesign processes
Propose & Support Ecodesign Referent and CCN leader with continuous Return of Experience (REX) to improve the relevant methodologies
Report to Ecodesign Managers and CCN leader technical or methodological issues
Provide awareness trainings to stakeholders within the organisation.

Engineering bachelor degree with Chemical Science knowledge, such as Chemical Engineer, Ecodesign Engineer, Materials engineer with environmental competencies or equivalent experience
International Standards and Regulation knowledge for environmental issues (hazardous substances, environmental communication, energy efficiency, end-of-life…)
Knowledge in environmental assessment (LCA, bilan carbone…) and related tools
High level of communication skills, pro-activeness, ability to work independently and within a team
Fluent in English.
