The Role:

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our day shift train cleaning team, responsible for maintaining high cleanliness standards before trains return to service.

This role involves full interior cleaning, including mopping, vacuuming, and touchpoint sanitization, as part of the cleaning team at Eastcroft Depot. The position will begin with an initial 4–6-week period at Nottingham Station, during which you will receive support to obtain your Personal Track Safety (PTS) certification.

This is an existing 2 week rotating roster pattern covering Saturdays and Sundays therefore full flexibility is required. Overtime is available at the discretion of the management team.

Week 1: Sunday (07:54 – 16:00), Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (05:54 – 15:00), Thursday (05:54 – 13:00)

Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (05:54 – 15:00), Friday (05:54 – 13:00) .

 

Pay Rate & Benefits:

The pay rate for the Day Shift Train Cleaner position will be at £13.16 per hour.

Ideally, you will be experienced within a vehicle/industrial or house cleaning environment.

You will have a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering a clean and safe environment clean for.

Training is provided covering depot protection, site safety and cleaning solutions. Work is undertaken in a safety critical environment so you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screening.
