Field Service Engineer

We are looking for a field service engineer in the London or Cambridge area to provide fault finding, maintenance and service on a variety of laboratory instruments. Job Responsibilities:

Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment at customer sites which include laboratories, research institutions and pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues to ensure optimal performance.
Provide exceptional customer service and support during on-site visits.
Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve product performance and reliability.
Train customers on proper equipment usage and maintenance procedures.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in technology.
 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer on medical or laboratory equipment or similar
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
Relevant qualifications in engineering or a related field.
Strong health and safety knowledge
Full UK driving licence.
