Job Title: Electronics Test Engineer

Location: Cambridge, UK

Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35)- £45-55/hr

Duration – 3-6 months

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Engineer with a proven track record in electronic circuit testing to join our team in Cambridge. This is a high-priority contract role (inside IR35), ideal for someone who thrives in both lab-based and automated testing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform hands-on testing of electronic circuits at lab level.
Develop and execute automated test procedures.
Collaborate with design teams to influence and implement Design for Test (DFT) strategies.
Support Design Verification Testing (DVT) and Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ) activities.
Work closely with early-stage prototypes and contribute to design improvements.

Requirements:

Proven experience in electronic circuit testing (lab and automated)
Solid understanding of DFT, DVT, and IVVQ processes.
Ability to work effectively with early hardware designs.
Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
Availability to start on short notice preferred.
