Responsibilities:

Generate and deliver best practice marketing and communications locally, regionally, nationally and internationally on and offline.
Have a broad understanding of the marketing mix and create a responsive data driven marketing strategy and action plan.
Achieve weekly, monthly, and season visitor numbers through the implementation of effective marketing strategies.
Create strategies to increase gift voucher sales and upsells.
Use the data available across the group to understand our visitors, how they compare across attractions in the UK and how to target them.
Maximise live intelligence about the attraction generated through “The Hub” marketing, social media and survey analysis to influence wider informed decision making.

 

Specific Tasks:

Use best practice marketing to deliver tactics from digital to above the line, media planning to supporting journalist visits.
Deliver analytical and statistical data for decision making.
Lead on all marketing projects with central design agency Holdens including print media, social media campaigns, pay per click and website development.
Conduct extensive and ongoing research, planning and strategy for partnership marketing opportunities.
Manage the budget and make best value decisions across all areas.
The point of contact for third party events taking place on site e.g. TV, Press, Live events etc.
Represent site as a spokesperson where necessary or relevant.
Oversee all responses to review sites (The Hub) and social media.
Initial point of contact for Heads of Department’s for any marketing enquiries.
Collation & sharing of marketing data with third party businesses where necessary or requested.
To lead the ‘Brand Champion’ group alongside the General Manager.
Any other daily tasks, to provide smooth operation and running of Marketing and Live Events across the site(s) required by the General Manager to also include operational and non-marketing tasks.

 

Requirements:

Proven experience in a marketing communications role or similar position.
Strong understanding of project management principles and time management skills. Understanding of data analysis and tools to use to advise return on investment.
CIM Marketing Qualifications
Wider understanding of the North Wales tourism economy
Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital marketing tools.
Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with exceptional communication skills. Welsh speaking would be a bonus, but not essential.
Ability to analyse data effectively to inform decision-making processes.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage team members and engage the wider business to bring the attraction to life.
