A CAD technician is required to join a Rail company working on a permanent basis. The role will initially include working in Birmingham for training, but once training is completed, the role will be working from home with occasional visits to the office. As a CAD technician, you will be preparing quality and professional drawings on a wide range of Civil Engineering projects in the railway, using CAD and Microstation software.

The ideal candidate will be someone at the beginning of their career with experience working with CAD and Microstation software within the railway. To qualify for this role, you must have at least 3 years’ experience with the use of CAD and Microstation software – specifically Microstation version 8 (2004), and you must have experience using this software in a rail/civils environment.
