We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with expertise in various software applications including Civil 3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. This role involves leading of major rail engineering project from conception through to completion, ensuring quality and adherence to industry standards.

 

 

Responsibilities

Lead the design and development of engineering projects, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Utilise software tools such as Civil 3D, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and ArcGIS for project design and documentation.
Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively while coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Conduct system design analysis and provide innovative solutions to complex engineering challenges.
Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for stakeholders.
Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices in engineering design and project management.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored engineering solutions.

 

 

Requirements

A degree in Engineering or a related field is essential; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Proven experience in rail / track civil engineering or a related discipline.
Have experience in the delivery of geotechnical, rail and civils projects
Ideally a member of ICE.
Ideally holding PTS card.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation) and experience with Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
Familiarity with system design principles is advantageous.
