Refrigeration Engineer

A large national FM and maintenance company are looking for an experienced Refrigeration engineer to be based at a large Mobile sites in Bristol, Swindon, Trowbridge, Devices. This is a fantastic role for the right person to join an established team.

Responsibilities will include:

– Installation and Commissioning: Set up refrigeration systems like HVAC units, walk-in coolers, and ice machines.
– Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular maintenance and repair tasks on systems such as commercial freezers and cold storage units.
– Troubleshooting: Diagnose and fix issues with refrigeration systems, including chillers and display cases.
– System Upgrades: Implement upgrades to enhance efficiency and performance.
– Compliance and Safety: Ensure systems comply with safety standards and refrigerant regulations.
— Documentation: Keep detailed maintenance and repair records.
– Energy Efficiency: Identify and implement energy-saving measures.
– Client Communication: Communicate with clients about system status and maintenance activities.
– Training and Supervision: Train and supervise junior staff.
– Emergency Response: Respond to urgent issues to minimise downtime.

Qualification Requirements:

– NVQ Level 2 in refrigeration and air conditioning
– F-Gas
– Driving Licence
