We’re working with a leading boiler manufacturer looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their technical support team. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong domestic heating experience who enjoys troubleshooting, working independently, and occasionally supporting training or sales activities. You’ll be covering the South East region, diagnosing and repairing boiler and hot water system issues, and providing expert advice both on-site and over the phone.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair faults on domestic boilers and hot water products at customer sites.
Participate in a weekday and Saturday rota to provide phone-based technical support.
Attend installer events and trade mornings to support sales and product demonstrations.
Train installers and service agents through presentations and live demos.
Monitor and support local service agents, maintaining quality standards and stock.
Address customer complaints promptly and effectively.
Offer technical feedback to improve products and support.

 

 

Key Skills & Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of boiler fault-finding and breakdown experience.
Valid ACS gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT.
OFTEC Oil qualifications – essential.
Air Source Heat Pump or F-Gas Cat 1 certification .
Confident communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Comfortable with IT systems and independently managing a field-based role.
Full UK driving licence and based in the South East region.
