HVAC Engineer
Rolling Contract
Based in Coleshill Birmingham
£25 – 27 per hour

Responsibilities:
– Develop and design heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems tailored for rail infrastructure, ensuring they meet project specifications and client requirements
– Oversee the implementation of HVAC systems, coordinating with other engineering teams and contractors to ensure timely and efficient project completion
– Ensure all HVAC systems comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices
– Provide technical expertise and support during the installation and commissioning phases, troubleshooting any issues that arise
– Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents, and maintain comprehensive records of all project activities

Qualifications:
– A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is typically required
– Previous experience in HVAC engineering, particularly in large-scale projects, is highly valued
– Proficiency in design tools (e.g., AutoCAD), strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and familiarity with HVAC and control systems

Skills:
– In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and their integration within rail projects
– Excellent communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and ensure clear, effective collaboration
– Strong organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of the project simultaneously.
