Fleet Support Engineer – Rail

If so, Zed Rail Limited are recruiting for an experienced Fleet Support Engineer located at our depot in Tyseley, Birmingham on a 6-month contract basis paying up to £400 per day (Outside IR35). This role is to support the Fleet Delivery Manager.

Key Accountabilities: 
•    You will work closely with Production teams, Stores and other areas of the business to ensure all materials, production plans and resources are in place for the work to be completed.
•    Oversight of maintenance instructions.
•    Assisting the Fleet Delivery Manager in ensuring fleet is in redelivery condition at the handover of a franchise.
•    Reviewing work reports and aiding with repairs.
•    Oversight and management of the trains ensuring cleanliness, fully maintained and free from defects with no faults or damage.

What we require?
•    Knowledge of UK rolling stock and experience in a production environment.
•    The successful individual will support on a demobilisation and dilapidation programme.

Hours of Work: Full Time
