We have an exciting opportunity to join our as a Amended Timetable and Resource Team Leader

This role is responsible for the production of the amended timetable and plan through the team leadership of the (Amended) Timetable & Resource Planners. The role will lead and support the production of the amended timetable plan, and ensure competent resources are correctly allocated to match workload and specification requirements.
Main Duties:
- Lead the allocation of workload to successfully deliver the strategic objectives for possessions, contingency planning, and special events for each amended planning week.
- Assure all amended plans are compliant with agreed fleet utilisation and depot capacity rules and agreed train crew utilisation and roster rules.
- Assure all amended timetables, stock, and resource plans, are produced / published to the agreed specification and is compliant with industry and business process / timescales.
- Lead interventions with Amended Timetable & Resource team members to support achievement in amended planning KPI (performance) targets, and compliance with part D of the Network Code applicable to the amended timetable.
- Establish and maintain operational partnerships with equivalent supervisory roles in Network Rail System Operator to influence amended planning outcomes to meet the strategic objectives for possessions and events.
- Maintain skills and competencies to enact the role of the Amended Timetable & Resource Planner trainer.
- Lead direct reports, ensuring objectives and deliverables within the accountability of the amended planning delivery team, are delivered to agreed timescales, cost, and quality, and through the required management competencies and business values.

We have a hybrid working policy, which is applicable for this role with time split between home and on site working. Should you wish to work full time on site this is also an option.
Whilst your base will be Derby Head Office, you will need to be flexible with travelling and working at other locations to be able to support stakeholders in person as required. You will be provided with a First Class duty travel pass to be able to travel around the network and work on the move.
