Project Overview;

This position is part of a high-profile defence project, requiring candidates to work on classified elements of metallic primary structures. British Citizenship is essential due to the sensitive nature of the work.

Key Responsibilities;

Design and development of metallic primary structures using SolidWorks.
Ensure designs meet structural integrity and compliance requirements for defence applications.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure project objectives are met within tight deadlines.
Produce detailed technical documentation and design reports as required.

Required Skills and Experience;

Strong proficiency in SolidWorks with a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs.
Extensive experience working with metallic primary structures.
Knowledge of defence industry standards and practices is highly desirable.
Ability to work effectively on classified projects while adhering to strict confidentiality requirements.

Contract Details;

Location: Derby (3 days on-site per week for the first month, with flexibility thereafter).
Start Date: January 2024 (ASAP availability preferred).
Rates: Open for discussion based on experience and expertise.
Travel: May need to travel to view customer (all costs covered).

Candidate Requirements;

British Citizenship is mandatory due to the nature of the defence project.
Immediate availability or ability to start in early January 2024.
